Accessories for Skywatcher Star-Adventurer mount

The polar illuminator adapter...
This adapter compensates for a lack in the Star-Adventurer and Star-Adventurer Mini mounts.
Indeed, the illuminator provided with the mount is usable when no instrument is attached thereto.
The alignment is likely to be significantly affected when mounting the "L"-bracket + counter-weight + camera.
Unfortunately, once the "L" bracket mounted, it is not possible to put the polar illuminator in the axis of the polar scope.
This is why I designed and 3Dprinted this adapter that fits into the slot of the "L"-bracket and that is positioned in the center of the viewfinder.
The illuminator is then placed in the adapter. The cap can also be placed to close the adapter.
Glow-in-dark adapter :
Material : PLA
Colour : black, glow-in-dark (green, white at daylight), red.
Specify the type of mount and the color you want (black or green-glow) while ordering.

Tandem adapter for illuminator and Polemaster...
The large hole in the adapter allows to mount a Polemaster + a 45 mm diameter adapter ring (e.g. QHYCCD dovetail ring, in red on the following pictures).
- adapter's body and clamp-base : 3D-printed black PLA plastic,

- Polemaster's blocking screw : black nylon.
Remark : Polemaster, QHYCCD dovetail ring, illuminator, mound and L-bracket, are not included.
Polemaster+QHYCCD dovetail adapter...
This adapter includes a fast-release grip specially designed to fit the L-bracket of your Star-Adventurer.
This adapter accepts 36 mm diameter QHYCCD dovetail adapter.
- body : 3D printed PLA
- 1 nylon screw (Polemaster blocking)
- 1 steel scew (grip blocking)
Polemaster and HEQ dovetail not included.
Declination setting circle...
On one side : graduations sticked on the rotating-setting ring.
The disc is inserted on the Kodak screw of the declination ring with downward coordinates.
This new version is removable (the disc isn't sticked on the axis).
The overall thickness of the disc is around 2 mm.
When the disc is in place, you can rotate the coordinate ring. The ring is slightly tightened and stays in position.
Don't forget to stick the marker on the body of the declination axis, in front of the declination setting circle.
You can fix your telescope or telephoto lens to the declination axis, as you usually do.
The precision setting scale allows an accuracy of 0.5° (beyond if you have good eyes...).
The kit includes :
- 1 declination settng circle, ready to insert on the DEC axis,
- 1 precision scale, ready to stick on the DEC axis's body.
The L-bracket isn't included
The declination setting circle rotates as you rotate the declination axis.
Once a refecence object is pointed, you can rotate the declination ring to set its declination coordinate.

The metal latitude blocking lever...
Si vous possédez une monture Star-Adventurer,
vous êtes certainement confrontés à des problèmes de serrage
et de blocage en latitude à cause de la faiblesse du
levier en plastique d'origine.
Voici la solution : un levier de remplacement en métal.
If you own a Star-Adventurer mount, you may have encountered
tightening and latitude locking problems, due to the weakness of
the original plastic lever.
